Expression of Interest to Host PAHF Under-19 Indoor Championships (Men & Women) 2013

On 1 October 2011

In May 2011, the Pan American Hockey Federation’s (PAHF) Board of Directors took a decision which will advance the status of indoor hockey in the Americas by implementing an Under-19 Indoor Championship in 2013.

Moreover, the PAHF considers the use of Indoor Hockey to be a good strategy to promote the sport in countries that are starting hockey development, who do not possess artificial turf fields and facilities, and the early development of young players.

Therefore, we are pleased to call for Expressions of Interest from National Associations to host the PAHF Under-19 Indoor Championship (Men & Women) in 2013.

The PAHF invites National Associations to submit their Expression of Interest to host these championships by October 1, 2011, with preferred dates to:

- Mr. Julio Neves, PAHF Project Co‐ordinator – julio.neves@panamhockey.org, and
- Mr. Willard P Harris, PAHF Competitions Committee Secretary ‐ willardpharris@gmail.com

All National Associations lodging an Expression of Interest will be given appropriate information concerning the PAHF technical, commercial, financial, media and protocol requirements for a host organizer to fulfill.
