Argentina, champions of the Indoor Pan American Cup.

The Argentine men's field hockey team secured their World Cup spot with a semifinal victory over Guyana, then capped off their Pan American Cup campaign with a back-to-back championship. Led by Massimo Lanzano, they dominated the group stage, scoring over 8 goals per match. In the final, already qualified for the indoor hockey World Cup, they played with ease, aiming only to surpass their own performance. With goals from Eleicegui and Ceballos, Argentina defeated Guyana 10-0 to reach the final. They continued their dominance, with Eleicegui and Ceballos adding to the scoreline to secure a 5-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in the final. 

Trinidad and Tobago secured their spot in the next indoor World Cup, marking their return after 6 years, with a thrilling 5-4 victory against the USA in the electrifying semifinal clash. This win not only earned them a place in the prestigious tournament but also showcased their resilience and skill on the international stage. It's a significant achievement for Trinidad and Tobago's indoor hockey team, highlighting their determination and ability to compete at the highest level after a long absence from the World Cup scene.

The United States claimed the bronze medal in the men's category after defeating Guyana 5-4.

2024 Indoor Pan American Cup

The 2024 Indoor Pan American Cup will be held in Calgary, AB, from March 19-22, 2024. The last time Canada hosted the Indoor Pan American Championships was in 2005 in Waterloo, Ontario. Since then, the event has taken place in Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay, Guyana, and in 2021, the event was held in Pennsylvania, USA.
